Anthony Cocca brings years of complex litigation and insurance
coverage experience to the firm. His extensive litigation
background includes handling all phases of complex medical
malpractice matters, products liability matters, cases involving
ordinary negligence and construction defect litigation. He
also has experience involving insurance coverage disputes.
Mr. Cocca has defended medical malpractice and/or ordinary
negligence lawsuits involving most of New Jersey’s medical
malpractice insurance carriers including, Atlantic Health
System Insurance Co., Ltd., American International Group (AIG),
Healthcare Insurance Company (HCIC), Medical Inter-Insurance
Exchange (MIIX), Princeton Insurance Company (PIC), Medical
Inter-Insurance Exchange (MIIX), and Zurich Insurance. Prior
to joining Bubb, Grogan & Cocca, Mr. Cocca was a Medical
Malpractice associate at a prominent medical malpractice defense
firm in Morristown, NJ. Prior to that he specialized in Criminal
Law and Automobile Negligence in Paterson, NJ.
Mr. Cocca is a graduate of the Thomas M. Cooley Law School
in Lansing, Michigan where he served as staff writer for the
Michigan Bar Journal’s Opinion Notes section and was
recognized for his research and advocacy skills. He also served
as legal intern to the Governor of Michigan’s legal counsel.
Following law school Mr. Cocca served as Law Clerk to the
Honorable Donald R. Reenstra, J.S.C. Mr. Cocca obtained his
undergraduate degree at the University of Arizona in Tucson,
Arizona.
